Either way, I believe that when we know better, we do better! So lets all learn what we may not know in order to do better!
I met Kristi Swartzetruber about 7 years ago or so when I joined the sales force of Pure Haven, an amazing company manufacturing better home and personal care products - many of which are organic and all of which are toxin free! (We can explore more on this in a future episode!) I stayed connected with her while she studied to become a Functional Medicine Practitioner. I followed her on Instagram and Facebook and found all of her content to be logical - mind you I am always interested in helping my whole being function as well as I can so I was so grateful to already know this woman when I had the gallbladder attack from hell! It had me down and out for 8 days! Drinking water had me vomiting and doubled over in pain! So many people said, "just get it taken out" and I said a resounding, "No!" I reached out to Kristi and we had a consultation where she gave me several helpful hints and I hired her to help me restore my gallbladder to a happy and peaceful state.

Over the years, I have been building my network, my tribe and finding my people. I am thrilled to have the relationships I have built over the years. One of these amazing connections is with a humble restauranteur in Newtown, Pennsylvania - in the heart of Bucks County. His name is Pasquale and his restaurant is Vecchia Osteria by Pasquale.
Pasquale and his wife, Anna, have been running Vecchia's since 2009 and honestly I can say have built quite a following. I also have to say, if you are a foody and you love Authentic Italian food, you are seriously missing out if you have never stopped by to sample this menu!
Everyone who walks through these doors is treated like family. You are likely to see Pasquale and Anna moving about the dinning rooms checking on their patrons. You are also very likely to see guest coming in and hugging them and catching up since their last visit.
I cannot say enough about the way this entire family has embraced me and my family and the love that is shared through amazing food every time! Pasquale's love language for sure is food!
Here is some great information before you go: Vecchia's is a byob restaurant and reservation are a must! Vecchia's also offers special menu's on the holiday's they are open. Christmas Eve has three main seating times at 3PM, 5PM & 7PM and offers a Seven Fishes menu!

This book is a true labor of love. This is Jac's memoir and about his journey with his beloved wife, Angela who was called home last February suddenly and unexpectedly. This story is witty, insightful, full of wisdom and very thought provoking. Jac is funny and brings humor and heart to this touching story. I am so proud to be part of his launch team and share all of this with all of you!
